Berry and Bloom Wedding Planning and Coordination is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team as a Day-of Wedding Coordinator. As a Wedding Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' special day runs smoothly and exceeds their expectations. This is a part-time, contract position with evening and weekend work required. A valid driver's license is also necessary for this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding day.
- Coordinate with vendors, including florists, caterers, photographers, and musicians, to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
- Assist with venue setup, including coordinating seating arrangements, decorations, and any special requests.
- Create detailed timelines and schedules for the wedding day, ensuring that all activities run according to plan.
- Manage any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event, providing quick and effective solutions.
- Oversee the flow of events, such as the ceremony, reception, and any other planned activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the planning process and on the day of the event.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each wedding, including contracts, invoices, and client communication.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in event planning or coordination, particularly in the wedding industry, is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of local wedding venues, vendors, and trends is a plus.
- A passion for creating memorable experiences and exceeding client expectations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
