**Location: Remote role with some travel to Leeds required on average 1 - 2 times per month**
- Do you have a proven product management background within the ruminant industry? Do you have an interest in working within the fast paced co-product and moist feeds dairy division of AB Agri? If so we want to hear from you
- This will be a varied, highly commercial role managing the moist and co-product category, focused on understanding market trends, new product development and pricing changes whilst building strong customer and supplier relationships to enable the business to be as successful and efficient as possible.
- We are looking for a pro-active and driven approach who can manage contracts and positions effectively whilst driving sales, retention and new business. This is a great time to join the dairy team as we continue to experience rapid growth with our market leading products.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Manage the Supplier relationships for your aligned products, building rapport to understand supply and demand to increase our moist feed profitability.
- Develop and maintain supplier and customer relationships, measure customer churn for the products managed, identify lapsed users and initiate strategies to re-engage with them.
- Manage the Moist feed relationships with direct to farm customers within retail segments across the UK, with ownership of aligned accounts
- Uncovering cross-sell opportunities for all product channels with a core focus of supporting the transition of customers into the rationing team using referrals
- Where there are limited volumes, working with the Trading team to implement distribution plans
- Be a key driver in sharing market insight across your aligned Customers to take advantage of market opportunities, the right time to buy and drive sales.
- Deliver suitable product marketing campaigns to engage with new and existing customers

**What you'll bring**:

- Ideally previous experience of product management within the ruminant feed industry.
- Previous B2C Sales experience.
- Practical commercial experience and entrepreneurial flair with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
- An understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK agriculture industry
- Previous experience of managing moist and co-product categories would be highly desirable but not essential
