Brampton, Canada Nord Gear Full time

**Job purpose**: The Assembler must be willing to be trained and must adhere to Nord Gear standards. The position requires a person capable of working in a fast paced, high demand environment, with deadlines and expectations pressured by the need to provide the highest level of service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Must be mechanically inclined and be proficient with hand tools (e.g. pneumatic guns, hand tools, presses, and cranes)**

**Required to be safety conscious and have a strong commitment to quality management**

**Good Manual dexterity, able to grasp, manipulate and assemble components**

**Knowledge of production processes, raw materials and quality control principles**

**Use various hand tools, power tools, dimension gauges, voltage and continuity meter**

**Job Requirements**:
**Assembly experience required**

**Basic electrical and mechanical background**

**High School Diploma, Technical schooling preferred**

**Ability to read and understand technical drawings**

**Required to work with moderately hazardous equipment and materials at times.**

**Good English communication skills, verbal and written; good communication skills in French an asset**

**Ability to lift weights up to 70lbs**

**Must maintain a clean organized work environment**

**Experience with workplace safety procedures**

**Works effectively with diverse personality styles**

**Solid attendance record**

**Strong efficiency in all areas**

**Must be a team player**

**SHIFT**: 8am to 4:30pm M-F

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $23.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
