**1. Design Interpretation and Layout**:
- Review landscape design plans and ensure a clear understanding of the layout and design elements.
- Mark out specific locations for plants, hardscape features, and other elements on-site.
**2. Soil Preparation and Grading**:
- Supervise soil preparation, which includes amending soil, leveling, and ensuring proper compaction.
- Oversee grading operations to establish the desired slopes and drainage patterns.
**3. Hardscape Installation**:
- Manage the installation of hardscape elements, including:
- Setting pavers or stones for walkways and patios.
- Constructing walls, steps, and other structural features.
- Installing outdoor structures like pergolas or gazebos.
**4. Planting and Softscape Installation**:
- Coordinate the proper planting of trees, shrubs, and perennials based on design specifications.
- Ensure appropriate spacing, depth, and mulching for plant installations.
**5. Crew Coordination**:
- Assign tasks to crew members based on their skills and experience.
- Provide clear instructions, demonstrate techniques, and oversee their work.
- Monitor the progress of each team member and address any issues promptly.
**6. Material Procurement**:
- Order and manage the delivery of landscaping materials, ensuring they are on-site when needed.
- Verify the quality and quantity of materials received.
**7. Equipment Operation and Maintenance**:
- Operate landscaping equipment such as excavators, skid-steer loaders, and hand tools.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
**8. Client Interaction**:
- Communicate with clients on-site to address questions, concerns, and design preferences.
- Provide updates on project progress and discuss any modifications if needed.
**9. Quality Assurance**:
- Continuously inspect work to ensure it meets design standards and quality expectations.
- Make adjustments or corrections as necessary to maintain high-quality results.
**10. Budget Tracking**:
- Keep a detailed record of expenses related to labor, materials, and equipment.
- Assist in managing the budget to avoid cost overruns.
**11. Regulatory Compliance**:
- Ensure that the project complies with local building codes, permits, and environmental regulations.
- Handle any required inspections and documentation.
**12. Safety Management**:
- Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure crew members wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and address safety concerns promptly.
**13. Problem-Solving**:
- Identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the installation process, such as unexpected site conditions or design changes.
**14. Site Cleanup and Final Touches**:
- Organize the removal of construction debris and ensure the site is clean and safe.

**Salary**: $30.00-$43.00 per hour

**Experience**:
