**Consultant - Advisory**

**Objective**

Provide expert consulting services to our clients, on a full-time basis, in areas such as transaction advisory, financial due diligence, preparation of IFRS and ASPE statements / schedules, and other related services. Our client base includes several public companies and very large private enterprises requiring controllership services that consist of full-cycle accounting support.

**Characteristics**

An individual that is highly organized, has exceptional attention to detail, financial skills with a demonstrated ability to problem solve, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a positive attitude and demeanor. Must be able to work within tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

**Education**

As we are a public accounting firm, experience with (or demonstrated knowledge of) accounting and finance is critical to this role. Ideally, we are looking for an individual with a university-level education (or higher), with an accounting / finance focus, along with relevant consulting experience. The individual should be a CPA or have successfully completed their CFE and only requiring practical experience for qualification.

**Duties**

Duties include leading and executing financial due diligence, preparation of IFRS schedules, and other related services for clients. Provide value-added advice to clients and work closely with them to identify and implement improvements to their financial processes. In addition, provide full-cycle accounting support to our clients, including controllership services.

**Support**

Our firm will support the individual through mentorship by senior professionals with extensive public company experience as well as giving them access to junior talent to support them on difficult transactions.
- Our firm is recognized as a Pre-Approved Program office for training Chartered Professional Accountants and the successful applicant will be enrolled in the program if they require additional articling experience to qualify for their CPA designation. _

**Technology**

Our firm is technologically-focused and uses several key pieces of software (and cloud) tools to keep us organized, productive, and on-task. Experience with: CaseWare, ProFile, Excel and other financial modeling tools is an asset.

**Other**

Office located at Bathurst / Dupont and is accessible by subway. Flexibility exists in terms of working off-site on a needs-basis, depending on workload requirements. This is a small office environment, so being able to work independently is a key success factor.

**Salary**: $62,500.00-$77,500.00 per year
