_Day care facility manager for Christian-based child care centers _
**Job Summary**
- Blessed Generations Academy is looking to hire a **daycare facility manager **who are interested in working with the **Infant/Toddlers **group and who are passionate about providing high-quality, **Christian-based** Early Childhood Education.

**Qualifications**
- Valid certification from the BC ECE Registry ( Infant/Toddler/ Early Childhood Educator certification or diploma)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Negative Criminal Records check
- 3 References
- At least 2 years of working with children
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensures and facilitates the smooth functioning of all aspects of the childcare facility in order to best serve children and families
- Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws, childcare regulations, and licensing requirements at all times
- Provides supervision, leadership, and support to all center staff
- Train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements
- Manage and implement childcare curriculum that is reflective of BGA’s Christian values and compliant with Provincial requirements
- Oversee and manage all elements of center enrollment, ensuring full capacity and smooth integration of new client-children into the center
- Markets the center to prospective client-parents through word of mouth and sharing the marketing materials made available
- Provide facility tours
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping in terms of daycare records, client files, enrollment, payroll, and staffing
- Evaluate and notify the Director of requirements for daycare materials, equipment, and supplies every month
- Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures
- Send out weekly newsletters to keep parents updated on announcements and facility news
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and regular communication with parent-clients through the Parent Communications App and in-person interactions; facilitates or directly provides mediation and resolution to parent-program conflicts which arise
- Ensure policies and procedures are being followed by parent-clients, guiding them and addressing concerns as they arise
- Host special events (i.e., Open Houses, birthday parties, Winter concerts, etc.) at the center when necessary
- Require to work with children as a teacher for ratio
- Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Operations

**Work Environment & Physical Requirements**

Work is generally performed in both classroom and outdoor settings, with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule due to the unpredictability of young children. Frequent walking, standing, lifting, stooping, and carrying of equipment and materials may be required. May be required to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Applicants must be able to handle the stress, tension, and exasperation that contact with many children and parents brings every day.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
