The person in the position of Batch maker is responsible for the production of finished goods of the company. He is responsible for planning the quantities to be produced as well as for the efficient production of the various products for sale. He must also make sure that he has everything in hand to manufacture the different products.

**Main tasks**:
Ø Work safely at all times and comply with all safety regulations while working with hazardous materials and chemicals

Ø Ensure adequate processing according to work orders, production schedules and orders

Ø Maintains work area in a clean and organized manner

Ø Weigh/measure raw materials

Ø Transport raw materials and barrels manually or using handling equipment to designated areas.

Ø Plan next week's production

Ø Follow recipes diligently and blend chemicals into finished products

Ø Learn products and help stage/prepare orders

Ø Make sure you have all the basic products to perform the production

Ø Enter production information into the computer system

Ø Use a lift truck

Ø Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to supervisor

Ø Responsible for shipping and receiving

Ø Perform other related tasks

**Prerequisites**:

- WHMIS training (asset)
- Forklift Certificates (Asset)
- Must be able to differentiate between color variance
- Knowledge of computer tools;
- Ability to work under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

**Working conditions**:

- Frequent lifting up to 50-70 lbs. unassisted
- Responsibilities are repetitive in nature
- Various chemicals used in process
- Work in a warehouse environment
- Schedule
