Swimming Pool Concierge

**About Us**:
At Unity Harbourfront, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members. Our brand new, upscale, state-of-the-art gym facility includes a pool area where members can swim and engage in aquatic activities. We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Pool Concierges.

As a Pool Concierge at Unity Harbourfront, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the experience of our members who use the pool facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the pool area to maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all pool users.
- Greet and check in lap swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with members and colleagues to provide information, assistance, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the pool facilities and overall gym environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including keeping equipment organized and accessible.
- Perform pool maintenance routines such as chemical testing, balancing, logging etc. (training will be provided).
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols related to pool operations.
- Always present yourself in a friendly, welcoming, and highly professional manner.

**Available shifts**:
**Mon - Fri**:5:30am - 8:30am, 4pm - 9:30pm

**Sat - Sun**:7:30am - 2pm

**Qualifications**:

- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to swim four lengths using at least two recognizable strokes.
- Ability to stand for the majority of one’s shift.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in tense situations.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Previous lifeguarding/aquatics experience preferred but not required.
