**Hours**: Monday - Friday 0800-1600hr

**Pay Rate**: $16.78 - 17.48/hr based on leveling system

**_
Assignments include:_**
- Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites, patrol assigned areas to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed
- Ensure safetly and emergency procedures are followed and maintain written reports
- Direct visitors to appropriate areas, perform security checks and liaise with visitors, customers and the public
- Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration

**_Qualifications:_**
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR level C certificate
- Proof of double Covid-19 vaccination
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proficient in English, both oral and written
- Microsoft Office experience

**_Essential Job Functions:_**

Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.

Write clear, concise, and legible reports.

Communicates any concerns/issues with Operations Manager.

In this role, it is essential that you maintain integrity, clear written and oral communication skills, basic computer knowledge and maintain a high standard of customer service.

**_ Requirements:_**

Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act.

Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.

Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements.

Superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise, and legible reports.

Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy.

Patrol assigned area on foot, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.

Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required.

Offer support to any person in need such as providing good customer service when providing a security presence, such as providing direction, responding to emergency situation involving violent individuals and injuries.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
