Aerial Fiber Drop Technician

**Aerial Fiber Drop Technician**:

- Install and maintain aerial fiber optic cables using bucket trucks and climbing gear.
- Utilize and maneuver 28ft ladders safely and effectively in various environments.
- Plan daily work routes to ensure efficient and effective job completion.
- Interpret maps and schematic drawings to execute work accurately.
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and protocols, ensuring all activities are conducted safely.
- Must possess a fall arrest certification or have significant experience as an I&R technician, with a strong comfort level working at significant heights.

**FTTH Technician**:

- Handle the installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optics within residential and business areas.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs to maintain service quality.
- Directly engage with customers, providing clear communication and customer care during installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service interventions.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in fiber optic installations and familiarity with related equipment.
- Technical proficiency and ability to solve complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
