Seniors, Community and Social Services provides supports for seniors, families, and communities, and helps Albertans access disability services, financial supports, services for the homeless, and other social-based programs. This ministry supports Albertans through a person-centered, integrated service delivery model that recognizes the unique circumstances, experiences and strengths of individuals and families. The ministry also provides oversight for the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee.

Within the Delivery Services Division, Disability Services, the Family Supports for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program and the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) program work to better connect individuals, children, and families to programs and services.

**Role Responsibilities**:
The Service Support Team in Edmonton is part of Disability Services’ Delivery Services Division North Zone and is responsible for:

- Coordinating a variety of processes that support PDD and FSCD Caseworkers with connecting individuals to funded services;
- Assisting with data management and analysis; and
- Development and implementation of processes.

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

- Data Management, Analysis, and Organization: Complete a variety of data management activities that inform program operations and procurement activity. This includes receiving and collating data and the creation of pivot tables and dashboards for regular and urgent requests.
- Case Management Support: Support case management activities by following up on inactive files, completing contact notes, coordinating assignment of risk assessment facilitators, and verification of services as needed. Procedure Development: Work collaboratively to develop, evaluate, refine, and maintain efficient processes for utilization by Service Support and the FSCD and PDD programs. Participate in the development and provision of training and resource materials including technical documents.In order to be successful in this role you will exhibit strong interpersonal, problem solving, and creative thinking skills. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgement will ensure that deadlines and expected outcomes are met. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to support accurate interpretation of information and writing of technical documents. Above average computer skills with Microsoft Office and M365 are essential.

In this role you will work closely with a small team that reports to the Service Support Supervisor. You will interact regularly with PDD and FSCD Caseworkers, Contract and Procurement Specialists, Casework Supervisors, Managers, Service Providers, and Albertans.

While the role works closely with Caseworkers, it is not primarily a case management or Social Work position.

**Qualifications**:
Two year diploma in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a relevant field of studies with no experience.
