**Duties**:
The main tasks expected are as follows:

- Annual planning and conduct of exercises relating to national operations.
- Review and update national contingency plans.
- Plan, coordinate and execute simulations of large-scale domestic operations.
- Create, develop and plan training courses related to domestic operations.
- Leading work groups.
- Analyze and provide recommendations to senior management following working groups and domestic operations simulations.

❗ As per the TBS common hybrid work model for the Federal Public Service, there is an in-person requirement of at least 3 days per week in the office.

The intent of this process is to fill an AS-05 indeterminate positions at 2 Canadian Division Headquarters on the Longue-Pointe military base in Montreal.

EDUCATION:
Degree from a recognized university.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in project management.
Experience leading work groups.
Experience working in a highly hierarchical organization.
Experience in supervising and directing people according to specific mandates.

ABILITIES:
Ability to analyze and make recommendations to senior management in French.

SKILLS:
Demonstrate integrity and respect.
Thinks things through.
Work effectively with others.
Show initiative and be action-oriented.
Communication.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Depending on the need, be prepared to work overtime on occasion and with a minimum of notice.
Be prepared to travel if necessary.
Valid, unrestricted provincial or territorial driver’s license.
