Responsibilities will include the following:

- Developing and implementing field programs (vegetation, wetlands, soils) and evaluating development impacts on ecosystem components.
- Contributing to or leading the preparation of high quality scientific and technical reports, including permits and regulatory documents.
- Managing projects and inter-disciplinary project teams.
- Assisting and /or leading the preparation of proposals and contributing to other business development activities.
- Preparing and delivering presentations on project outcomes to clients and regulators.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Contributing to oversight, mentorship and coordination of staff in the Edmonton office.
- Collaborating with a dynamic team of environmental scientists and engineers.

**Job Requirements**:
What you will bring:

- Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in a relevant pure or applied science (graduate degree preferred).
- Professional registration or eligibility for registration (e.g. P.Ag., P.Biol.).
- Project experience in vegetation, wetland, and soils assessments.
- Strong time management and organizational ability.
- 6+ years post-graduation experience in environmental consulting.
- Leadership skills and a drive to succeed.
- A strong understanding of relevant provincial and federal legislation, regulation and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication skills and technical report writing experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines within a team environment.
- Ability to manage diverse projects and budgets.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and provide supervisory support to other team members.
- Ability to travel for short periods of time.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
