Join our team at Sistering, a multi-service agency in Toronto dedicated to supporting at-risk, socially isolated women and transgender individuals facing homelessness or precarious housing situations. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Fundraiser through the Canada Summer Jobs program.

**Position Summary**:
As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts during the summer months. Working closely with our fundraising team, you will assist in organizing and executing fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to help raise funds for our cause.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising events and campaigns.
- Research potential donors and sponsors, and assist in developing fundraising proposals and materials.
- Manage donor databases and ensure accurate and up-to-date donor records.
- Assist in donor stewardship activities, including thank-you letters, donor recognition, and regular communication.
- Provide general administrative support to the fundraising team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Marketing, Communications).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or fundraising software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for fundraising and making a difference in the community.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Note: International students are not eligible participants.
