Bordered by the Crescent Drive Golf Course and only 20 minutes from downtown Winnipeg, Thermëa by Nordik Spa-Nature opened its doors in 2015. This relaxation and renewal centre focuses on thermotherapy practices and relaxation techniques from Scandinavian countries. It offers a multisensorial experience in an all-embracing natural setting to contribute to the health and wellness of its guests.

**What we need**

We are currently seeking a **Host(ess)**, whose skills will contribute to our organisation’s mission. The incumbent’s objective is to provide excellent customer service through customized interactions. He/she greets customers, escorts them to a table, hands them menus and acknowledges them when they leave the restaurant. The host(ess) is an important supporting member of the restaurant team in ensuring the smooth operation of service.

**What you’ll do**
- Greets and escorts customers to a table, according to their preference, presents menus, answers question, offers suggestions and pertinent information;
- Clears, cleans and resets tables;
- Offers a personalized service and ensures customer satisfaction;
- Performs rounds to refresh water glasses and maintains table cleanliness;
- Ensures par levels of required goods are maintained;
- Performs opening and closing task checklists;
- Assists in expediting food and beverages
- Performs other related duties.

**Profile needed**

What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position
- High school diploma;
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service;
- Knowledge wine characteristics and pairings, an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Very good physical condition and endurance; working in a standing position for long periods of time, ability to lift 40lbs (18 kg);
- Possess positive attitude, autonomy, and dynamism and a high attention to detail.

You will work on flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
