Duties: Effectively troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical systems of Locomotives.
- good oral and written communication skills
- proficient computer skills
- good interpersonal skills to work effectively others
- improve maintenance trends through individual locomotive performance predictive and historical trends
- research/coordinate special tool and material requirements
- prepare task procedure documentation/instructions to effectively communicate the requirements to the shop workforce
- must be self motivated will require to work independently
- good level of analytical ability where problems are complex
- experience using various hand tools
- Monitor equipment performance providing Sales/Service Management with regular reports and recommendations for technical issues
- medium level of mechanical and electrical aptitude
- experience working around and with Heavy Equipment Manufacturing
- ability to read engineering drawings
- knowledge of shop practices and basic machinery
- experience working in an environment where bending, reaching, lifting over the shoulder and climbing stairs would be required
- provide technical advice to customers regarding proper tooling, maintenance practices and operation of product to maximize reliability and performance and reduce repair cycle times

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
