Urban Ridge Homes, a leading infill construction company based in Winnipeg, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. As a drafter, you will primarily be responsible for our various construction projects, working closely with engineers and project managers to bring innovative and functional concepts to life. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of exceptional living spaces and shape the urban landscape of Winnipeg.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for infill construction projects.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and other drafting tools, to create accurate and visually appealing 2D and 3D drawings.
- Translate architectural concepts and sketches into comprehensive and precise drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Create detailed construction drawings for various elements of infill projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Conduct site visits to gather accurate measurements, assess existing conditions, and incorporate necessary information into design drawings.
- Collaborate with the project team to select appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures, ensuring compatibility with project goals and budget.
- Design Kitchens and share input on interior finishes
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to infill construction and architectural drafting.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of design deliverables.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Drafter, preferably with a focus on construction projects.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and other relevant drafting tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to infill construction.
- Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and detailing.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to propose innovative design solutions.

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 Years working experience, preferably in the residential construction industry
