**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role, you will:

- Manage transformational programs and projects from conception to completion
- Lead multi-discipline, cross functional and/or multi-partner project teams
- Provide expert advice on project and operational initiatives
- Analyze requests against the Branch priorities and develops business cases for review

**How do I qualify?**:
**Project Management Skills**:

- You have project management skills and experience to successfully lead and deliver large concurrent projects such as developing project schedules, managing project resources and budgets.
- You have knowledge of IT operational activities and initiatives to implement and monitor operational project management tasks and procedures.
- You have in-depth knowledge and experience with project management standards, tools, techniques and methodologies, such as Project Management Institute (PMI), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and industry best practices.

**Technical Knowledge**:

- You have knowledge of policy development and research methodologies, tools, planning and program evaluation techniques to lead and manage the review and evaluation of the impacts of business transformation projects on existing policies.
- You can produce and maintain effective project and process collateral to support change management activities.

**Research, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**:

- You can identify process, operational or other issues, conduct analyses, and determine most appropriate course of action to resolve them.
- You demonstrate analytical and research skills to conduct comprehensive analysis of business and project activities.
- You can conduct risk assessment/mitigation and develop recommendations to resolve problems.

**Leadership Skills**:

- You demonstrate experience in providing technical leadership, mentorship and advice to project teams.
- You have leadership skills to direct and coordinate the work of program/project staff and external consultants.
- You can provide expert advice on operational initiatives for project and business planning processes and activities.

**Relationship Management and Communication Skills**:

- You are a team player with communication and relationship management skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships, provide advice and exchange information.
- You can make presentations to various parties, provide convincing explanations, and resolve complex issues.
- You demonstrate political acuity and have excellent decision-making skills.
