**Tasks/responsibilities**:

- Analyze the performance of a business unit and present his conclusions to the

upper management
- Maintain and create dynamic financial models to enable evaluation of the financial

performance of the company’s various divisions
- Support team in developing & modeling alternative scenarios for maximizing

financial returns
- Search for new opportunities to improve results

**Other Responsibilities**:
Financial analysis
- Prepare and comment various financial reports on a weekly basis
- Maintain and improve financial models of company results and budgets
- Present his analysis to the upper management on a weekly basis
- Analyze performance trends compared to budget, forecast and prior year
- Monitor key metrics variances and identify exceptions

Budget & Forecasts
- Assist in the annual budget process by doing and presenting to the stakeholders

the budget of a business unit
- Interpret data on price and volume drivers
- Continue to develop and maintain process to ensure forecasts are accurately

reflected
- Maintain strong working relationship with departments, proactively working to

identify and solve problems.

Investment/Capex analysis
- Support operations in producing ROI/Business Case modeling
- Be the point of contact between accounting and operations
- Work with cross-functional team in assessment of their capex strategy

**Requirements/skills**:

- 1-3 years of experience in Financial analysis
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), an

asset
- Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team with excellent

interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on

management capacity
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Perfectly bilingual (English and French)
