Whitfield Guardian Pharmacy in Elmvale is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a full time/part time pharmacy assistant/technician. Qualified applicants are invited to reply to this job posting or drop off an resume.

We are seeking talented individuals to help in all aspects of the retail pharmacy business. This will include:

- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Accurately measure dosage of medications, according to Doctors orders.
- Answering telephone, taking messages and calling patients.
- Processing and filling prescriptions and managing workflow issues
- Adhere to company policies, relating to inventory or medications, supplies and confidentiality
- Scheduling Rx Deliveries

Qualifications:

- Minimum one year experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Experience with blister packaging an asset
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Nexxys computer system is considered an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
