**Job purpose**

Receives and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from the CareHawk facility. Works effectively and efficiently in a dispatch and warehouse environment to prepare and package shipments going out to customers. Works with production/operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.

**Duties and responsibilities**

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Examine and unpack incoming shipments; verify number of packages and condition for potential damages
- Verify packages according to purchase order and packing list for quantity and description
- Inspects items according to documented procedures, generate NCR and notify purchasing/operations when required
- Receive items into ERP system in timely manner, marking items with appropriate part numbers/identification and route items to various departments as required
- Maintain records for NCR materials returned to vendor
- Prepares finished goods, resale products and RMA items for shipping, according to established procedures, packing instructions and best practices
- Review and record shipping information as required for each SO Pick Ticket, ensuring items are picked accurately, weighed and packaged appropriately as required
- Ensure optimal, organized and safe storing of products within the warehouse
- Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material in the ERP system to maintain accurate inventory records
- Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
- Performs periodic inventory cycle counts and participates in year-end inventory counts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Cooperate with other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
- Maintain and organize work area for a smooth and efficient workplace
- Follow all applicable Health and Safety codes, standards, legislation and policies and procedures
- Load, unload and move material and products by hand or using material handling equipment
- Adheres to proper industrial hygiene practices
- Follows department and company policies and procedures
- Conducts themselves in a professional and respectful manner
- Fosters and maintains positive working relationships within CareHawk

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two years’ experience
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Functional computer skills
- Friendly and professional telephone manner
- Knowledge of standard safety practices
- Ability to work in a team or independently with mínimal supervision
- Works efficiently under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with couriers, customers and colleagues
- Adheres to "5S" organization and housekeeping requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and/or written methods with peers and management
- Attention to detail
- Utilizes basic math skills
- Possesses organizational and time management skills in order to work to optimal efficiency
- Ability to work within the department productivity standards
- Ability to solve practical problems, have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written or oral form

**Working conditions**

Traditional manufacturing and warehouse environment

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

ESD protection practices required

May require overtime during peak times

**Physical requirements**

Able to withstand extensive standing throughout the day

Occasional exposure to electrical and lead hazards

Able to lift up to 50-70 lbs
