**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks such as demolishing, clearing, and preparing construction and work sitesLoad and unload building materials equipment and supplies
- Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others and continually seek opportunities to share knowledge and teach others
- Checking and performing minor repairs (including replacement) on plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipes, valves, toilets, sinks, faucets, replacing of fittings, and clearing drains.
- Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.
- Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.
- Performs minor and major repairs on buildings and equipment unsupervised including, but not limited to, replacing and repairing parts, pneumatics, low voltage electrical, and equipment, buildings and facilities.
- Performs any other duties as assigned
- Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment

**Additional abilities required include**:

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques
- Low voltage electrical experience and knowledge; completes minor electrical job.
- Three to five years of experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance/repair (preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (required).
- Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

**License/Certification**:

- Driver's License (required)
- Completed Apprenticeships (recommended)
- Electrical: 1 year (preferred)

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.
