Production Baker

St John's, Canada Winsor Bakery Full time

We are currently seeking a Production Baker. This position is responsible for daily baking of our famous apple flips, date turnovers, oat cookies, various muffins, cookies and loaves etc. Packaging, labelling finished product and picking orders for shipping may also be required. We are seeking an energetic employee with a proven history of reliability and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment. Quality and food safety is extremely important to us therefore adherence to all food safety protocols, health and safety regulations, and company operating procedures is essential.

As a Baker you will be expected to conduct the duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. These duties include:

- Handling and preparation of ingredients
- Bake product in large ovens, monitors ovens and removes baked product to cooling racks at appropriate time
- Producing to recipe specifications
- Operating manual and electric equipment to package food
- Processing customer orders accurately and timely
- Maintaining records of the production using manual and computerized systems
- Cleaning and sanitization of workspace and equipment while keeping room organized and safe
- Washing dishes and utensils
- Assisting in various warehouse duties

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
