- N/A**Task description**:
Make a difference by sharing your well-behaved dog with Thomson Centre residents. Dog visits bring comfort, joy & unconditional companionship.

**Responsibilities**:

- Report to Thomson Centre staff & visit with residents who love dogs.
- Engage with residents - encourage interested residents to pet your four legged friend and to share their stories.
- Follow Pet Visitor program.

**Skills needed**:
Compassion, patience, good listening skills and acceptance of people with declining memory and physical abilities.
Basic dog obedience and a dog who is happy and comfortable in the facility
Note: All dogs will be screened for suitability.

**Time commitment**:
One hour per week

**Incentive for the volunteer**:
