**The Role**
- You will instruct students in the Department of Early Childhood Education.
- The Department offers a two-year diploma program that prepares students for basic ECE certification as well as certification as a Special Needs Educator. Students may also complete a post-diploma citation in Infant-Toddler Care.**Responsibilities**
- You will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in the Early Childhood Education Diploma program. You will plan, organize and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners and maintain high quality learner-centred instruction.
- Further contracts may be awarded in the future.**To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need**
- Experience or strong interest in teaching applied knowledge and skills to post-secondary students.
- Experience caring for and/or working with young children in a childcare, preschool or kindergarten setting.
- Interest and/or proficiency in technology using an online-based teaching & learning platform.
- Excellent communication & time management skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Have a computer.
