The Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) is a dynamic workplace with a talented, team-oriented professional staff. This position is responsible to lead and facilitate the development, updating, monitoring, and progress reporting against the EAO’s multi-year strategic plan, other supporting plans, and other various reports. This will include working with senior managers to develop divisional and/or work-unit business plans & project charters, including evaluation frameworks and organizational performance metrics, and reporting progress towards achieving organizational goals & objectives. The position also manages Freedom of Information response coordination.

**Job Requirements**:

- Completion of a directly related bachelor’s degree or 2-year diploma (e.g. business administration, project management, management consulting, public administration), or widely recognized professional certification (or post-graduate university level certificate program) in strategic and/or organizational-level planning**; OR,**:

- An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Experience facilitating the creation of organizational-level strategic plans, operational plans, business plans, etc., in support of achieving organizational priorities in alignment with broader strategic objectives.
- Experience establishing performance metrics for measuring progress towards achievement of organizational-level strategic plan, operational plan, or business plan goals.
- Experience leading and conducting regular monitoring & evaluation of organizational progress towards achievement of organizational goals / objectives (e.g.: annual reports; quarterly performance metrics and progress reports).
- Experience analyzing organizational performance objectives, evaluating options, and recommending solutions to senior managers and/or executive.
- Experience providing advice and making presentations to senior managers and/or executive.
- Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following:
- Completion of master’s degree in a directly related field and area of specialization.
- Minimum of 2 years experience facilitating the creation of organizational-level strategic plans, operational plans, business plans, etc., in support of identifying organizational priorities and alignment with broader strategic objectives.
- Minimum of 2 years experience establishing performance metrics for measuring progress towards achievement of organizational-level strategic plan, operational plan, or business plan goals.
- Experience coordinating Freedom of Information responses.
- Minimum of 2 years experience leading and conducting regular monitoring & evaluation of organizational progress towards achievement of organizational goals / objectives (e.g.: preparation of year-end annual reports; quarterly performance metrics and progress reports).
