**HOURS OF WORK**:
Hours of work are primarily Monday to Friday daytime hours. There are times when an on-site presence will be required during off-hours in light of the fact that the health centre is a 24/7 business. Work is performed in an office environment as well as in clinical inpatient/outpatient units. On occasion some work may be performed outside. Travel is required occasionally.

**_WHAT YOU’LL DO: _**

**_Responsible to the Director Capital Planning & Development, Facilities, Security & Switchboard, the Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation and operations of all major equipment and infrastructure for the Health Centre daily and in accordance with the 20 year Master Plan direction. Planning will be aligned with the Master Plan to ensure consistent and fiscally responsible planning. Operationally, the Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of buildings, its systems and non-biomedical equipment and grounds, overseeing the contract for security. The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the energy management plan to ensure cost savings and operational efficiencies. All operations are to be maintained within the legislative requirements and CSA standards. The Infrastructure Manager will oversee all Capital projects and ensure they incorporate future infrastructure needs. _**

**_WHAT YOU’LL BRING: _**
- **_Post Secondary Degree in a related field preferred _**:

- **_Minimum 10-15 years of design and construction experience in a healthcare environment required _**:

- **_At least three to five years related management experience preferred _**:

- **_Participation in P3 projects/healthcare projects exceeding $50M _**:

- **_Membership and participation in a relevant professional organization _**:

- **_Working knowledge of machinery, controls, and construction _**:

- **_Knowledge of collective agreements would be an asset _**

**_WHO YOU ARE: _**
- **_Robust understanding of construction and procurement laws in Canada and Ontario _**:

- **_Fluent in the requirements within the Ontario Building Code _**:

- **_Strong understanding of the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) contracts and the risks and benefits of the various procurement methodologies, _**:

- **_Familiar with the technical equipment requirements from major vendors (i.e. clinical systems, TSSA regulated equipment, etc.) _**
