Civil Construction Superintendent

**About us**

Kyle Demelo Construction is a civil, residential and agricultural excavating company based in the Okanagan. We are hiring a Superintendent to join our team in the South Okanagan (currently predominantly Penticton, Oliver and Osoyoos). We offer competitive wages, benefits and a great work environment.

The qualified individual must:

- Have a full understanding of construction documents and blueprints
- Be able to plan, schedule, organize, direct and control construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
- Oversee day-to-day field activities of the workers.
- Monitor job safety and provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry as a Superintendent
- Adequate computer skills to communicate with all project stakeholders
- Valid Drivers' License and a clean Drivers' Abstract
- Level 1 First Aid
- Experience with Worksafe BC safety standards

**Salary**: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Okanagan, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
