Cabinet Maker

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for cabinet construction.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinets according to design specifications.
- Construct cabinets using various materials such as wood, laminate, and veneer.
- Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
- Ensure cabinets are properly aligned, level, and secure.
- Repair or replace damaged cabinets or parts.
- Collaborate with management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Be able to work safely and independantly

Be able to go out and perform installations

**Skills**:

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in cabinet making.
- Experience in construction painting, flooring installation, and other related skills is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate cabinets from scratch based on design specifications.
- Skilled in general maintenance person tasks related to cabinet installation and repair.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during the cabinet making and installation process.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing cabinets.

- carpentry: 1 year (required)
- Kitchen cabinetry: 1 year (required)
