Saskatoon’s premier powersport and marine dealership, Proline Motorsports & Marine, has a position available within our Vehicle Sales Department. The full-time, year-round position of Retail Finance Manager is open and ready for you today. This position will enable you to help our clients maximize their highly valuable recreational time aboard their “big toy” of choice and ensure our VSD team and department meet its full potential.

As a Finance Manager you will be able to help new and repeat clients through the buying process, offer financial options, protection, accessory and service packages related to their vehicle purchase. Most importantly you will help our highly valuable clients navigate a pivotal point of the buying experience. While completing this stage of the purchase process your primary objectives will be ensuring exceptional client experiences, staying current on factory retail campaigns, and most importantly conducting yourself in a professional and ethical manner. We are a full line, exclusive OEM dealership for Yamaha, Polaris, Indian and Husqvarna Motorcycles, as well as Arctic Cat. We are also a full line boat dealership for Yamaha Sportboats & Waverunner’s, StarCraft marine, and MasterCraft tow-sport boats, plus Ilmor, PCM and Volvo Penta engines. We expanded into the trailer business with Triton and Rainbow trailers with future growth plans. Most recently we have added the lines of Yamaha and Husqvarna power assist bicycles (E.Bikes). We also carry an extensive line of support products catering to all the industries we serve. We have an exceptional client base, large volume sales, parts, and accessory departments that rely on our service department. - **Reporting directly to the Director of Sales (DOS), primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:_
- Be PASSIONATE in providing exceptional experiences for all our clients.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales to support sales initiatives, providing financial insights and strategies to maximize profitability.
- Handle customer interactions related to financing with a focus on providing exceptional service and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Work with a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Monitor and evaluate the daily operations of the department.
- Collaborate, design and implement improved processes, procedures, and policy.
- Collaborate with department team members.
- Ensure the Finance Department is operating effectively and efficiently.
- Staying current with all/any factory retail programs and training campaigns.
- **The successful applicant will have**:_
- Stellar communication and interaction skills.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally within the automotive, recreation, or retail industries will be strong attribute, but not required.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and industry standards.
- Exceptional client experience skills, with the ability to handle confidential financial discussions with customers professionally and empathetically.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills_._
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Good working knowledge of Windows based programs including Excel.
- Possess the abilities to plan, forecast, be highly organized, and fluid.
- Value teamwork and collaboration.
- Possess great time management skills.
- Will be results focused.
- Will be highly analytical and detail oriented.
