**Manager, Data & Analytics**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Data and Analytics to lead our data-driven initiatives with a strong technical focus and expertise in the Microsoft technology stack. As the Manager of Data and Analytics, you will report to the Director of Customer Facing Systems, and will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data and analytics solutions, leveraging technology to drive insights and enhance decision-making processes.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Data Architecture and Integration: Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures, ensuring seamless integration and data flow across systems.
- Business Intelligence and Reporting: Oversee the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations, enabling stakeholders to access and interpret data insights effectively.
- Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and implementing security measures across data pipelines, storage, and access control.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance and reliability of data and analytics systems, identifying bottlenecks, recommending improvements, and implementing optimizations using Microsoft performance monitoring and tuning tools.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and executive leadership, to understand their data and analytics requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide regular updates on project status and performance.
- Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the data and analytics field, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem, and provide recommendations on their potential impact and adoption.
- Degree in computer science, data science, or a satisfactory mix of education and practical experience
- Strong experience in data management, data engineering, and analytics, with a focus on Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python, data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration using Microsoft technologies.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing technical teams and driving projects from conception to implementation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.
