**About Us**:
We’re a newly established Montessori School located in the Newmarket area, established 2022, serving students ages 3 to 12. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a small and dedicated team. Our ambition is to achieve AMI Montessori Certification, a distinction held only by a select number of schools in the Central York Region, encompassing Oak Ridges, Aurora, Newmarket, and East Gwillimbury. Currently, we hold the status of an Applicant school with the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators.

Regalo Montessori Private School is currently seeking additional Teaching Support Staff to join our team, working alongside the Lead Montessori Casa & Elementary Teachers.

**The Role**:
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our two experienced AMI & OCT Trained Lead Teachers to provide robust support to the school, with a primary focus on supporting the Casa classroom and the general school daily operations

**Duties**:

- Support multiple classrooms in an assistant capacity.
- Work 1-1 with children as directed by Lead Teachers.
- Work with team members to supervise children during Lunch & Outdoor time.
- Supervise & Engage children for Aftercare program daily.
- Take the lead in maintaining the school environment & operations (weekly grocery re-supply, lead daily cleaning, classroom material prep)
- Attend Field Trips and Special Events; co-ordinate with Staff.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:
Previous experience in childcare working with children aged 3 to 10 years old is a requirement for this position.

**Preferred**:
Prior training and experience working in a School setting (Montessori or otherwise).

Prior Experience working at Children's camps and volunteer experience showing demonstrated initiative is a definite asset.

Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check completed, and Valid CPR certification are required prior to your start date.
