Journeyman Plumber

Its Plumbing is looking for a Journeyman Plumber. Job will included service calls, Repairs, New construction rough in, Finishing, After hours service calls. Work along side other journeyman plumbers and train apprentices along the way.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and welders, to complete projects
- Use power tools and equipment to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and make necessary repairs
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license/certification
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to plumbing work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

**Salary**: $37.00-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- plumbing: 5 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K2C 3R7: Relocate before starting work (required)
