**Compensation**:
$45,000 - $50,000

**Responsibilities**:

- Run hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as survey equipment, jackhammers, and forklifts as required
- Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
- Support craft workers (painters, electricians, carpenters, roofers, plasterers), sub-contractors, and other tradesmen as needed
- Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc.
- All phases of carpentry (framing, cabinetry, framework, Insulation, drywall work, finishing, tile work, siding, aluminium brake work, doors, and trim)
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
- Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Layout floorings, roofings, or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
- Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures
- Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Provide daily progress as required to the owner
- Ensure equipment/tools are maintained
- Ensure the job site is neat, tidy, and locked at the end of the day
- Communicate with the rest of the construction team
- Train Apprentices
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Kneeling and bending
- Working in all types of weather

**Qualifications**:

- Good depth perception and eye-hand coordination are needed, as are mechanical skills
- Physical stamina and physical strength are needed
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required - Trade certification, associate’s degree, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred
- Past construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment and the ability to understand blueprints and construction plans are required
- Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc.
- Carry a valid driver's license
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Ability to work well with others
- Positive attitude
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiar with how to use Apps on cell phone
- Own vehicle and tools required
