Pet Groomer

Well established pet grooming and pet food business in Scarborough looking for experienced pet groomer / customer service representative. Positive work environment focused on giving animals the love and care they deserve.

**Job Description**:

- Greeting guests and pets;
- Check in pets for grooming;
- Reviewing their contact details/grooming specifications at drop off time;
- Clarifying grooming requests and passing information on to fellow grooming staff;
- Bathing, drying, brushing, trimming and caring for dogs of all breeds and types;
- Cleaning bathtubs, cages, floors and tables as needed.
- Preparing for the next day of grooming services so salon is stocked and ready for anticipated guests.

Pre-requisites
- Key character traits: Hard working, patient, task oriented, committed, motivated, problem-solver, team player with common sense.
- Experienced in being around animals.
- Previous time in a grooming setting is an asset.
- Formal training preferred (but we are willing to train).
- Flexibility for extra shifts and hours should opportunities arise during busy seasons.

- Hourly wage (to be negotiated upon experience).

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
