**Position Overview**

The Service Delivery Manager works with our frontline delivery teams on all aspects related to client facing services and supports. This position works onsite to support our teams in delivering high quality and impactful employment services for jobseekers and employers.

The overall focus of this key role includes, but is not limited to demonstrating innovation and finding solutions to help meet the required service levels and ensure our clients attain and sustain employment, while providing a consistent and superior client service experience.

This role is also responsible for the day-to-day human resource needs of the team, monitoring and auditing risk management protocols, and the oversight of all systems required for the ongoing and efficient running of the WorkBC Centre.

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership**:
Responsible for the effective leadership of the WorkBC Employment Services team through:

- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with all team members (AKG Canada and Subcontractors) in order to obtain full support in attaining required WorkBC Employment Program objectives and outcomes.
- Maintaining the overall security of the WorkBC Centre by ensuring all confidentiality and security protocols are followed by AKG Canada team members and Subcontractors; alerting Executive Management (and the Ministry) of any breaches as required.
- Supporting the Director of Operations and Administration in responding to emergency situations and following protocols for alerting Ministry and Head Office, as per the Business Continuity Plan; and ensuring the effective and timely resolution of issues relating to crisis and risk management.
- Providing appropriate and superior virtual, written and in-person communications, in a variety of mediums, in order to ensure relevant information is shared, collected and circulated as required.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders of AKG Canada, clearly disseminating information, regarding both policy and process, in a consistent, timely and supportive manner.

**Client Experience**
- Responsible for ensuring the WorkBC Employment Services team provides accessible, inclusive, and welcoming services to all clients through the three identified service delivery channels by:

- Proactively being the ‘voice of the client’, ensuring opportunities to recognize changing trends and improve service initiatives are communicated effectively back to AKG Canada for appropriate implementation into service delivery.
- Maintaining required and identified AKG Canada and Ministry standards in terms of the use of the WorkBC Centre and other virtual and outreach services.
- Addressing and resolving client concerns and/or complaints in a consistent, appropriate and timely manner ensuring WorkBC and AKG Canada policies and guidelines are adhered to as required.
- Effectively tracking and forecasting WorkBC Centre, virtual and outreach service levels and reporting concerns to AKG Canada and Ministry representatives as required.
- Monitoring productivity, optimal service levels, service quality, and service utilization.
- Understanding of the unique needs and characteristics of identified Client Inclusion Groups’ and supporting an annual Special Service Initiatives Plan to create opportunities for Client Inclusion Groups to attain and sustain employment.

**Facilities Management**
- Effectively oversees the facilities management of the WorkBC Centre by working with the Office Coordinator to:

- Ensuring required Accessibility Standards are consistently maintained and reviewed.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace as referenced in AKG Canada policy, The Employment Standards Act and WorkSafe BC guidelines.
- Ensuring all AKG Canada emergency protocols are understood and regularly practiced by all AKG Canada team members and Subcontractors

**Data Analytics**:

- Responsible for analyzing and effectively utilizing data as a tool and resource for the successful management of the WorkBC Employment Services Program. Key elements include: Sustainable Employment Outcomes, the WorkBC Centre, Virtual and Outreach Services, and the Service Delivery Team (consisting of AKG Canada team members and Subcontractors). This is achieved by:

- Gathering localized information used for client volume, service utilization and financial forecasting.
- Providing communication at Contract Management Committee (CMC) meetings
