Hours of work: Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm (15 hours weekly)

Number of Positions: 2

Start Date of Employment: Feb 12th, 2024 (until ending of June )

**Responsibilities**:
*Plans, organizes and leads activities for children ages 6-12

*Follows the principles of Healthy Child Development (HIGH FIVE) in the planning and delivery of programs

*Monitors children’s participation in activities and ensures a positive and safe experience

*Ensures the equipment and supplies meet Health and Safety standards, and are operational and stored away after use

*Participates enthusiastically in program activities, games and educational lessons.

*Helps with preparation & distribution of daily snacks, maintaining facility space clean.

*Performs administrative tasks to support the program, signing in/ out to appropriate parent/ caregiver

*Takes action to deal with incidents, problems and emergencies as outlined in policy and procedures Binder, completes incident reports

*Liaises with caregivers and respond to inquiries

**Qualifications**
- 16 years of age or older

*Experience supervising children ages 6-12

*Experience planning and leading children’s activities

*Able to work in a team environment

*Skills and knowledge in a program area such as arts& crafts, games, sports & dance ( Dance background would be an asset)

**Must Have**:
*Must produce original current Emergency First Aid certification

(Company will complete Police reference check )

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
