**Job Posting**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Under the direction of the Skating Head Coach, provide instruction of the weekly skating program following the premade lesson plans.
- Responsible for greeting participants, leading activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants.
- To evaluate participants using a standardized assessment tool.
- To maintain excellent customer service communication with instructors, parents and participants.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Conditions of Employment: Strong Skating ability and understanding of skating techniques
- Experience working or volunteering with children and youth in a recreational setting (if applicable)
- First Aid Certification.
**Security Clearance Requirements**:Applicants may be required to complete an employment security screening check.-

**Cole Harbour Place**: Tuesdays 4:30-7:30PM & Wednesdays 4:00-7:00PM
- **Eastern Shore Community Center**:Saturdays 1:00PM-2:00PM
- **Halifax Forum**: Thursdays 6:30PM-9:30PM & Saturdays 11:AM - 4:00PM
- **Spryfield Lions Rink**:Sunday 12:00PM-3:00PM
