Lifco Hydraulics is a North American company with locations in St Catharines, Markham, Western New York, Pittsburgh area, and Corpus Christi in Texas. We specialize in manufacturing heavy excavator attachments and distribution of hydraulics. Our customer base includes well known companies such as SpaceX, American Airlines, Stelco, Northrop Grumman, Boeing as well as US Navy and many others.

**Position Summary**:
After initial success we are expanding and putting together a team of creative people who like to tell stories of people and their machines. We are seeking a Content Creator/Communications - for Heavy Industry. We are looking for someone who is a highly skilled communicator with a passion for writing and research to work with our content team. In addition to coming up with ideas, you will be expected to write scripts and copy for content that is published on our socials and media campaigns. The goal of this position is to assist the content team in increasing sales through outreach, and making the industry more appealing to potential customers. We will show you how to succeed but this will not be an easy job.

**WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE**
- Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (ads, newsletters, video scripts, interviews, etc.)
- Foster relationships with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and feedback through various platforms
- Develop and nurture online forums on industry-related topics and ensure accuracy and relevance of content
- Works collaboratively with the team to develop compelling content, both print and digital
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Be a supportive member to the creative team and contribute to ongoing team support

**SKILLS AND ASSETS THAT WOULD ASSIST IN GETTING THE JOB DONE**
- A portfolio of your creative work
- Able to travel to USA
- Valid G drivers license
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills - with a passion for storytelling
- Strong understanding of current trends in social media,content strategy and its role in driving digital marketing efforts
- The ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into readable copy
- Outgoing character and confidence for presenting
- Able to work collaboratively in a demanding, fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
