What to Expect
- En tant que technicien stagiaire, vous travaillerez sur l’un des véhicules les plus révolutionnaires au monde. Dans ce poste vous devrez rencontrer les clients, donc de solides compétences en service à la clientèle combinées à une capacité technique exceptionnelle sont nécessaires. Pour ce poste, vous devrez vous rendre au centre de service. La communication est très importante. Excellente communication orale et écrite requise. Si la satisfaction du client est primordiale pour vous, si vous êtes une personne motivée et si vous avez un excellent esprit d’équipe, nous aimerions vous rencontrer. Un service militaire pertinent peut remplacer l’expérience de l’industrie, et les anciens combattants sont encouragés à postuler.
- Responsabilités:

- Effectuer l’inspection préliminaire, la réparation et l’entretien des véhicules électriques Tesla.
- Travailler avec toute une gamme d’outils manuels, électriques et mécaniques.
- Procéder aux inspections, effectuer des réglages et des certifications.
- Effectuer des inspections avant livraison des véhicules neufs.
- Tenir les registres de temps et de matériel.
- Tenir à jour l’inventaire des fournitures et des pièces de l’atelier.
- S’acquitter des autres tâches qui sont assignées.
- Aider à maintenir la propreté des véhicules des clients.
- Soutenir, au besoin, les techniciens principaux.
- Connaître les méthodes, les techniques, les pièces, les outils et les matériaux utilisés pour l’entretien et la réparation des véhicules. Savoir comment faire fonctionner et entretenir une grande variété d’outils électriques à main, d’outils d’atelier et d’équipement d’essais automobiles et électriques.
- Avoir de bonnes connaissances techniques automobiles de base relatives à la réparation et à l’entretien des véhicules.
- Pouvoir aider au besoin avec les pièces et le service à la clientèle.
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou formation générale.
- Une formation postsecondaire en automobile (ou une expérience militaire équivalente) est préférable, mais non obligatoire.
- Être âgé(e) de 18 ans et plus.
- Permis de conduire valide, dossier de conduite sans tache et assurable.
- Doit être en mesure de se présenter au lieu de formation ou au centre de service local, au besoin.
- Capacité de soulever jusqu’à 60 livres.
- Capacité à suivre des instructions orales et écrites avec minutie.
- Être capable de travailler en équipe et d’atteindre les objectifs fixés.
- Doit avoir une attitude « sécurité d’abord ».
- Bonne compréhension de la langue anglaise.

What You’ll Do
- As a Tech Trainee you are working on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. This position is customer facing, so solid customer service skills combined with exceptional “hands on” technical ability go hand in hand. This position is located at the service center. Communication is highly important. Excellent Oral and Written communication required. If you are able to deliver strong customer satisfaction consistently, are motivated and a team player, we are interested in speaking with you. Relevant military service may be substituted for industry experience, and military veterans are encouraged to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles.
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars.
- Maintain records of time and materials.
- Maintain inventory of shop supplies and parts.

What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Post-secondary automotive education (or equivalent military service experience) preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insurable.
- Must be capable of reporting to training location or local service center as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.
- Be able to work in a team-based environment and achieve set goals.
- Must have a "safety first" attitude.
- Familiar understanding of the English language.- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars.
- Support lead technicians as needed.
- Knowledge of: Methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. Operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand power tools, shop tools, and automotive and electrical test equipment.
- Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles.
- Support Parts & Front of House operations as needed or on a rotational basis
