Kennel Attendant

Chasin’ Tails is looking for a kennel attendant to help support our busy boarding and daycare. Must be ready to work the holidays and work weekends.
Job Summary: The kennel tech is responsible for the health and safety of dogs while in our care under 24/7 surveillance. Employee is also responsible for the hygiene of the kennel tech and private kennel areas during shift. At all times a professional atmosphere must be maintained. All protocols must be followed and maintained while you are an employee in the facility.
Job Duties: Track and record all health related information according to Chasin’ Tails procedures Feed and health check dogs according to owner request and Chasin’ Tails procedures Follow all diarrhea and vomit protocols Follow all wound care protocols Ensure dogs are being health checked, fed, medicated, etc. in a timely fashion Report serious health concerns to supervisor on shift or management Complete end of shift duties in a timely fashion
Job Skills: Must possess a passion for dogs Be comfortable interacting with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Be able to work independently Strong communication skills Take initiative Health experience is an asset but not necessary Job
Pet first aid and benefits will be provided to employees after 6 months.
Type: Full-time Hourly: $15.00 per hour
