**Job Description: OBT- G2 Oil Burner Technician.**

**Go Industries** is looking for

**Responsibilities**:

- Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required.
- Measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment.
- Install and maintain gas meters and regulators and gas lines between the gas unit and the gas meter.
- Install, maintain, and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves, and automatic controls.
- Test and replace defective equipment or components.
- Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas-detecting devices.
- Prepare reports on work performed and the condition of facilities.
- Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
- May repair and service gas and oil appliances and related equipment.
- Will be required to install but not be limited to furnaces, Ac units, tankless water heaters, boilers, ductless mini splits, and heat pumps.
- Must be able to complete ductwork transitions and fabrications independently.

**Qualifications**:

- OBT 2 Oil Burner License with a G2 License.
- Driver’s License with clean driver's abstract.
- Possess strong customer service skills.
- Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities.
- Proven computer literacy skills.
