**If you're in high school, college or university, you're into tech, video games & robotics and you're comfortable working with kids? Then this might be the role for you.**
**Code Ninjas** teaches kids ages 5-14 to learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way - by playing and building video games they love. We help kids develop fundamental life skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt.
**This is where you come in.**
We are looking for a **Code Sensei** to join our team. Our senseis create a fun and safe learning environment for our ninjas. They are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas centre. As a sensei, you would oversee the day-to-day activities within our dojo and help coach and engage our students as they learn and grow.
**What your day would look like.**
- Learning the curriculum - it’s important that you learn it first, so you can better teach the students.
- Creating a positive and safe environment for our ninjas as you work with them and determine their individual skill sets
- Interacting with parents and providing feedback after working with their kids
- Opening & closing duties daily
- Helping maintain order and cleanliness in the dojo throughout the day
- Reporting to your Centre Director on student progress, the day’s activities and events in the dojo
- Plan and execute STEM activities for your ninjas
**Does this sound like you?**
- You’ve worked with kids ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
- You’re comfortable interacting with the public
- You have an interest or previous experience in coding and technology
- You enjoy a fast-paced work environment where things can change quickly
- You have a reliable way to get to and from work

- Weekends as needed
