- Intelcom is on a mission to become a leader in the parcel carrier industry for the eCommerce sector. We need a talented, inspired, and inspiring Webmaster to develop and maintain the company's consumer facing websites, ensuring functionality, resilience, and performance. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Team Lead and collaborating with internal teams, you will be a key player in the evolution of a Montreal-based company with a growing international footprint.
**Responsibilities**:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement web solutions.- Develop and integrate new website pages and functionality to support organizational objectives.- Manage website content in Craft CMS (WYSIWYG)- Manage day-to-day operations with external development agency.- Ensure best practices are adhered throughout the development cycle; UX/UI, CSS, Coding, QA- Monitor site performance and QA user experience for critical user flows: Package tracking, Consumer support, Client lead generation- Conduct regular testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or bugs.- Track and optimize website performance including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience, to improve conversion rates and user engagement.- Work with external SEO agency to improve site performance.- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in website experience for last-mile delivery.- Other related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ Years experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer.- Degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, or a related field.- Excellent knowledge of standard CMSs (Craft).- Understanding of HTML/CSS, XML; knowledge of PHP and JavaScript a plus.- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement technical SEO improvements.- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools like Optimizely.- Capable of effectively communicating technical and non-technical information.- Attention to detail, project management and organizational skills.- Curiosity that motivates you to keep up to date with the industry’s latest developments, trends, and competitors.
