**Position Type**:Seasonal/Permanent, Full time

**Description of Duties**:

- Install various types of roofing materials including asphalt, cedar, composite, and metal
- Repair various types of roof surfaces
- Give concise direction to helpers
- Remove existing roof materials, clean and prepare work areas, carry and lay out bundles of shingles
- Clear ground of debris including shingles, plastic, and nails
- Adhere to the Company Handbook and Safety manual
- Assist in the completion of daily safety documentation
- Go through company training and development program

- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and become proficient in the other services we offer
- Able to take and give direction
- Able to communicate effectively
- Able to lift at least 80 lbs from the ground to your shoulder
- Comfortable with climbing and working off of ladders
- Comfortable with heights
- Cell phone with sufficient data plan
- Valid full class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
- References

**Compensation**:Wage negotiable depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Steinbach, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- roofing: 1 year (preferred)
