Product Manager

Responsible for a variety of activities in planning, developing and coordinating the marketing efforts for assigned products during all stages of the product lifecycle; manage vendor relationships and updates to all vendor documentation in a timely and accurate manner; define and implement processes to support product offers from implementation to billing; communicate product needs and direction to the product development team; manage new releases and upgrades, including communication internally and externally; continually evaluate and improve product offers bases on sales needs and customer requests; assist in creating internal training to support new releases while adhering to policies and procedure
**What You’ll Do**:
- Work with business units and development to define product offerings and requirements
- Communicate product needs and direction to the product development team
- Work with Marketing Department to create product collateral and presentations to support sales efforts and to meet established business goals
- Continually evaluate and improve product offers based on sales needs and customer requests
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with various vendors
- Responsible for assistance in and at times creation of quarterly product roadmap updates and deliver to cross-functional teams
- May be required to write a Business Requirements Document to justify any major development efforts related to product line supported
- Participate in the activities associated with a variety of departmental projects ensuring established timelines are met
- Prepare reports, material and documentation as requested
- May update project plan
- Create and maintain organized project files
- Provide project lead with status reports throughout assigned projects detailing project status and timeline
- Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility
- Respond with a sense of urgency to problems escalated to employee's level
- Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided
- Place the highest priority on providing quality customer service by, ensuring the unique needs of customers are met
- Ensure quality resolution and thorough and accurate documentation of customer issues
- Provide analysis and feedback to management staff and appropriate departments regarding recurring problems, recommending improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences of problems
- Participate in creating, administering, and continuously updating procedures for resolution of all related issues
- Provide customer service that exceeds customer expectations
- Treat all internal/external customers, team members and department contacts with dignity/respect

**Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications**:
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
**What Experiences You Bring**:
- Minimum two years of software marketing and/or product management experience required Based on area of assignment the following may be preferred:
- Sales experience with conferencing products
- Minimum 1 year experience in digital media (streaming video, social media, mobile apps)
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
