As part of our network of independent clinics, you will own your neighborhood and be supported by 200+ peers nationally, sharing in information and knowledge to not only better serve your clients, but to help you grow in your own career.

Our mission is to empower people to live their lives to the fullest by helping them alleviate their foot pain. To continue to help our clients do more in life, work, and play, we’re looking for a Certified Pedorthist for our clinic.
- Preparing assessment rooms and assisting with patient assessments
- Checking appointments and reviewing client files/documentation
- Help withConducting biomechanical assessments and casting/molding/scanning lower limbs for orthotics
- Engaging with new clients and reviewing services, products, and fees
- Discussing treatments, preparing treatment plans, and making referrals
- Producing custom orthotics, completing orthotic/shoe modifications, bracing and compression clinical fittings
- Keeping up to date with industry knowledge and reviewing cases with peers

About this opportunity with BioPed Footcare:
This is a full-time permanent position working daily out of our clinic typically from Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with flexibility for some evenings and Saturday’s.

Qualifications:

- Kinesiology Degree
- Currently in or planning to enroll in Pedorthic Program with Western Universtity
- Desire to learn to confidently perform biomechanical assessment of lower limb anatomy, muscle, and joint function
- Desire to learn how to determine optimal treatment plans and select appropriate foot orthoses/other pedorthic footwear
- Desire to learn how to complete clinical fitting and modification of footwear, and design, manufacture, and modify foot appliances
- Experience working in a clinical retail setting
