Overview:
The
**Fountain Tire Acheson**
**Distribution Centre** (9633 266 Street, Acheson, AB) is currently looking for a full time, permanent associate, to join our team as a
**Shipping Clerk.**

**Shift is 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday - Friday, no exceptions, must be open to overtime. **

First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 160 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.

As a
**Shipping Clerk**, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

- Release orders in Microsoft Dynamics for picking
- Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
- Prepare shipping labels for courier orders (Loomis / Purolator)
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods
- Supervise material handlers and helpers
- Communicate promptly to carriers with shipment details.

**What does it take to get on track?**
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift goods weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb.)
- Working knowledge with Scan guns is an asset
- Must have Computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel is an asset)
- Must have a drivers license & reliable vehicle (No bus service)
- Must be available for Overtime.
- Must have work experience or knowledge of shipping desk / dispatching.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines
