Service Advisor/writer

Overview:
**Fountain Tire Huntsville, **an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associates to join our team as a
**Mechanical Service Writer/Service Advisor**.

**Salary: $26-$30/hour (based on experience)**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Creating work orders, arranging bookings, and communicating them to the technicians
- Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
- Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
- Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
- Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
- Participate in all safety initiatives, as required, or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire.
- Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and, on the road, site or field

**Working conditions**:

- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
- Consistent work with computers and communicating on the phone

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid understanding of automotive repair
- A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Proficient computer skills
