**Quality Inspector - Working Supervisor**

**CMM - Faro Arm Operator/Programmer**

This position reports directly to Manager of Quality Control and is responsible for the supervision, planning, organizing and direction of the CMM - Faro Arm Quality Inspectors.

The position of Working Supervisor Quality Control Inspector is an hourly-rated position with an average work week consisting of 44 hours per week. The work is performed on a two shift rotational basis Overtime work as required.

**NATURE AND SCOPE**
- To verify the dimensional accuracy of moulds, dies, component parts, electrodes, fixtures, plastic injection and die cast parts according to CAD data, and tool/part print specifications.
- The recording of inspection results and the preparation and distribution of reports pertaining to such inspection results.
- This position will also lend support to our Windsor and Mexico facilities.

**SKILLS**
- Minimum education requirement Grade 12 or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in a Quality Inspection Leadership role within the automotive industry, experience in the trade of Die and Mould making is preferable.
- Able to communicate effectively both in verbal and written form with clear and legible hand writing
- Ability to meet deadlines and to maintain focus on quality deliverables project milestones and proven ability to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Must be able to program and run CMM machines
- Able to operate CAD system
- Familiar with the operation and use of Faro Arm hard probe and laser scanner a definite asset
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, part prints/drawings. Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (G. D. & T.) required. Must possess a “hands-on” skill set in programmable CMM machines (Brown and Sharpe) - pc dimis software
- Good attendance combined with ability to work overtime as required.
